WSOP Circuit Headed To River Rock Resort & Casino – Revised Schedule


After circulating the poker industry rumor mill for the past month, the official announcement that a World Series of Poker Circuit stop will be heading to Vancouver’s River Rock Casino and Resort has been made.

According to a breaking news story on, the press release was made by “Jason March, player services manager for” at the 2012 WSOP Main Event, saying; “We are so excited, this is going to be a fantastic event. We finalized the deal with the WSOP today.”

As a result, the report also goes on to say that the annual British Columbia Poker Championships “will be pushed back to spring to accommodate the WSOPC stop.”

 Latest UPDATES:

  •  players will officially be able to participate in both the networks satellites and the two online events.
  • ONLY PlayNow and EspaceJeux players will be able to play in the Ring events and they will count towards points for the WSOP-C.
  • Players who win the online events will receive an official WSOP- C ring.
  • Network Satellites (Sundays) – $2,000 Winner’s Choice$3,000 Main Event Package
  • Only Satellites (Monday-Thursday) – Variety of winner’s choice for the $365 and $580 (buy-in still TBD).
  • Offline Satellites will run from Sept 17th to October 14th. This includes all sub satellites and main event satellites.
  • Online Event satellites will run from October 15th to November 25th (depending on which online event). This includes all sub satellites and main event satellites.

Sunday, November 18 $300 + $20 1
Sunday, November 25 $500 + $30 1

  2. @Jean-Francois-the 2 online events listed are the ring events. So far they have confirmed Espacjeux players will be able to play online sats to the live events
