The results from Day 1A of the main event of the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open here in Atlantic City, NJ are finally in! A total of 315 players started the day until the field was finally whittled down to a total of 193 with about $9.55 million in chips divided among them.

Jeffrey Papola, the student from New York, who also won a bracelet at this year’s WSOP Event #32 along with $667,433 leads Day 1A’s pack. Notable players in the field include Mike Sexton who finished with an above-average $70,400 in chips, putting him in 44th place. The top Canadians from Day1A are Francis Lamothe who hails from Quebec who is sitting in 5th and Evan Jarvis from Toronto in 7th.
