WPT Commentator Mike Sexton Leads Heading into partypoker.net WPT Montreal Final Table

Day 4 of the partypoker.net World Poker Tour (WPT) Montreal Main Event is in the books. 17 players started the day of this $3,500 + $350 buy-in with plans to play down to the official televised final table of six all vying for the $425,980 first place prize. A familiar face to the WPT, Mike Sexton ended the day as the chip leader amassing 6,215,000.

Quebec native, Ema Zajmovic ended the day second in chips with 5,385,000.  If she manages to top the field, she would become the first female player to win an open WPT title.

Zajmovic held the chip lead for most of the final table until the last hand of the night when Sexton called a button shove from Samuel Gagnon for 1,375,000 from the small blind with . Gagnon held needing some help to stay alive.  The flop came which was no help to Gagnon.  The turn was the and the start of day four chip leader was down to his final card.  The river was the to put an end to the day and eliminate Gagnon in 7th place for $67,790.

The final table gets underway at 4:00 p.m. local time and will also be shown on the WPT Live Stream on twitch.tv/wpt on a 30-minute delay starting at 4:30 p.m. local with cards up coverage along with live commentary (without Mike Sexton).
