The 2nd annual Vincent Damphousse Charity Poker Tournament will be held on Friday March 25 at the Casino de Montréal, with proceeds going to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of Quebec.

The buy-in for the event is $1,000 with half of the proceeds going to the charity and an expected prize pool estimated at $75,000. The first Vincent Damphousse Poker Tournament raised $65,000 for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of Quebec. This community non-profit organization seeks to improve the living conditions of individuals who suffer from ALS, and to provide support for their families.

The casino’s poker room will welcome many personalities from the show business (Marc Dupré and Nanette Workman), sports (Mario Tremblay, Michel Bergeron, Mathieu Proulx, Étienne Boulay, Éric Desjardins and Claude Lemieux) and poker world’s (Jonathan Duhamel).

The tournament is scheduled to begin at noon. It’s for a very worthy cause so please reserve your seats early for this event either at the Poker information desk or call 514-392-2720, 1-800-665-2274.

Good luck to all players and stay tuned for photos from the event in our CanadaPoker.com media gallery.
