In the wake of recent developments in the U.S., American poker site Victory Poker has decided to stop accepting American poker players.
Victory Poker CEO, Dan Fleyshman announced yesterday that they are closing down access for American players. “Don’t want to mess with the US government, they’re angry at the “Big 3″ for a reason,” the Victory Poker CEO declared on Twitter.
The newly taken decision won’t affect the current success of the poker site, as two thirds of the users are of other origin than American, according to Dan Fleyshman.
Victory Poker operates on the Cake Poker Network who was recently acquired by the Poker Listings group, one of the largest poker affiliate groups in the world. The Cake Poker continues to service customers in the USA along with other poker rooms in the network such as Power Poker and Canadian players with accounts at Victory can continue to play against their neighbours south of the border.
Thanks to the signing with poker pro Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari and former playboy playmate model Sarah Jean Underwood, Victory Poker has become very popular in the poker market.
