The UB Poker Pro Canada Classic II finally drew to a close last night which saw some great action among the roughly 60 players who made it through to day 2. They were all competing for their own slice of the $223,500 prize pool. Chris McClung ended up on the right end of things, however, and managed to go home with a nice $71,500.
Chris’ win was closely followed by 2nd place finisher Tony Pacchione who brought home 38k and Marcel Vouriot in third with 28k.
Reality TV star and Absolute Poker Pro Trishelle Cannatella also saw some final table action while finishing in 7th place, earning her a $7,800 claim on the prize pool.
Overall this was a hot event that helped us evade the doldrums of freezing cold winter life here in Montreal. We ceratinly can’t wait to see what UB will come up with for next year.
