The Sports Network (TSN), Canada’s sports leader has announced their broadcast schedule for live coverage of the 2017 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event! Beginning with Day 1 on Saturday, July 8, 2017, TSN will kick off 12 days of coverage of the biggest event of the year.
In previous years, folks in Canada were forced to wait until sometime in September when a month-long series of episodes would begin leading up the live broadcasting of the November Nine. Not this year. With the deal made between Poker Central, ESPN, and the WSOP, there is no more November Nine.
Live broadcasting will begin on Day 1 of this year’s Main Event and the final table will play out just days after it is set. Though not all of the episodes will air live on one of the five main TSN channels, they will at least air live on TSN GO and be shown later that night on a main channel.
