Rojas Latraverse and three suspects were arrested in a home invasion robbery where Jonathan Duhamel was beaten badly and along with cash, his WSOP championship bracelet was stolen.
The trial, which was set to begin this morning, was pushed back because her lawyer told the Quebec Court judge that she needs to see a doctor at the Tanguay Detention Centre. Rojas Latraverse has been detained since her arrest last December prior to having her request for bail denied in January.
Her lawyer later told reporters that Rojas Latraverse was involved in an accident.
Prosecutor Nancy Delorme said she was informed there was “an incident involving violence” and that there appeared to be marks on her face when she appeared in court. Rojas Latraverse apparently appeared healthy but she shielded her face in the courtroom.
