Casino New Brunswick in Moncton held their 2014 Fall Bounty poker tournament. The event ran for three days from September 19 to 21 with a total $550 buy-in ($250 of that was reserved for bounties). A total of 93 players registered for the event to create a $23,250 prize pool. Top 9 places were paid (top 10% of the field) but there were a lot more winners thanks to the bounties.
The big winner of the tournament was Trent Hopper who took home top prize of $6,975 plus all the bounties collected along the way.
Casino New Brunswick will be hosting their 2014 Lighthouse Classic Poker Tournament series from November 1st to 9 and that’s one not to be missed, especially if you live in Atlantic Canada.
Casino New Brunswick is now offering Texas Hold’em and Omaha tournaments and cash games with alterable limits. The Bad Beat Jackpot and Royal Flush Jackpot are eligible only for Texas Hold’em games.
