Sunday’s Top Canadian Online Poker Results


With the World Series of Poker (WSOP) on hiatus until later this year, the world of online poker has heated back up. Guaranteed prize pools are being smashed and Canadian players are capturing titles on the virtual felt. Check out the top Canadian online results from this past Sunday.

A couple of Canadians got the momentum going right out of the gate for Canada in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up. There were 1,759 entries this week building a $351,800 prize pool. ‘VixenKoala’ picked up $10,242.23 busting in sixth with ‘KatePkrPro’ knocked-out in seventh for $7,364.26.

Canada’s first victory of the day came from the $700 Super-Sized Sunday [Progressive KO]. ‘Darkhors5150’ picked up the win besting 581 players. A heads-up deal saw the Canuck split the top-two prizes evenly scoring *$29,599.16 but boosting his prize with over $6,000 in bounties.

EatMyFish’ turned a massive profit in the $11 Sunday Storm. One of the most popular events in the Sunday lineup found the interest of 31,095 entrants this week boasting a prize pool of $310,950. Receiving the second-highest share in a four-way deal, ‘EatMyFish’ was awarded *$22,286.54 hitting the rail in third.

The Big $55 featured a final table domination by Canada. With 3,059 entries and a prize pool of $152,950 Canadian ‘Yayoshow’ captured the title and a first-place prize of $22,071.34. ‘VegasDietz’ and ‘RedPantRed’ made deep runs finishing sixth and eighth respectively taking home $3,901.35 and $1,950.67.

The largest buyin of the day, the $1,050 Sunday Grand exceeded its $225K guarantee receiving 312 entries. Canadian ‘n3xD’ fell just short of Titletown picking up *$47,758 after a deal made heads-up. ‘Roo_400’ bubbled the final table in 10th banking $4,710.82.

Nearing the end of the day, four Canadian players made the final table of the $109 Sunday Cooldown [Turbo]. The event gathered 1,563 entries smashing the $100K guarantee reaching a total of $156,300. ‘NittyLiving’ finished runner-up for $17,273.61 while Twitch streamer Carter ‘cswidler’ Swidler finished third for $12,535.46. ‘Djleet1337’ was eliminated in fourth just before Swidler earning $9,096.97 and ‘KKastanheira’ was an early final table casualty busting in seventh for $3,475.70.

The last major of the day also saw the maple leaf on top. ‘Lefebvre1101’ took down the $109 Sunday Wrap-Up for *$8,891.80 after a heads-up chop. The $35,000 guarantee drew 552 entries creating a prize pool of $55,200. ‘Jays94’ (11th – $595.37), ‘jeanmoneyAA’ (12th – $595.37), and ‘fbac780’ (14th – $436.40) narrowly missed out on the final table and top end of the money.
