Sorel Mizzi Advances at WPT Foxwoods


The Foxwoods World Poker Finals is down to final table 10 players and Canadian Sorel Mizzi is in the top 10 players behind the chip leader Tom Marchese who has dominated the last rounds. Both players are actually placed 2nd and 3rd in the current Player of the Year rankings, a tournament ranking organized by CardPlayer magazine. A victory here for either one of them could propel them to the top in addition to pocketing $548K in winnings for first place.

Gavin Smith, who was among the early chip leaders for a good part of the tournament finished in 25th spot winning $27,779 in prize money.
