Sinan Tawfik Claims King of Felt Bracelet & 2nd Alberta Title At River Cree Resort Casino

“2012 King of the Felt” Bracelet

The River Cree Resort Casino in Edmonton has been upping its game and major tournament offerings, recently hosting the “King of the Felt” Deep Stack Championship series from August 4th to 12th. Four events and a number of satellites attracted players from around the prairies, but it seems one in particular is truly proving his reign as “King” of Alberta Deep Stack events; Sinan Tawfik took down the “Main Event” the Capital City, claiming a nice new bracelet and title to go with his Deerfoot Inn & Casino Spring Super Stack win back in April.

Andrew Middelburg also put up a very commendable showing, winning both Event #1 and placing 5th in Event #3 for more than $12,500 combined. Gary Frost also pulled out double final table finishes worth nearly $6,000.

Congratulations to all of the in the money finishers and we look forward to watching things unfold in the next River Cree Resort and Casino major series being planned for the first week in December.
