Shawn Buchanan Wins PCA $10K NL Turbo, Talonchick Wins $1K Omaha 8
Shawn Buchanan, the Canadian Pro from Abbotsford, BC has won the $10K High Roller event last night. He beat fellow Canadian Pro Andrew Chen from Mississauga in heads-up after the final three players in the tournament made a deal. Stefan Huber from Switzerland finished in 3rd.
The $10K Highroller Turbo had a total of 87 entrants and a prize pool of $843,900. The top ten places got paid.

Adrienne “talonchick” Rowsome Wins $1K Omaha / Stud 8 Side Event
Adrienne “talonchick” Rowsome, has won the PCA Omaha 8 / Stud 8 High Lowtourney for $10,900 a few nights ago. In 4th was Canadian Septimiu Popescu.A total of 24 players entered creating a $24,250 prize pool.
Adrienne came to the PCA to play the Canada Cup final table. When that didn’t work out as wellas she hoped, she moved on to the first side event she planned to play, a $1,000 Omaha-8 andStud-8 combination. Though she’s an Omaha-8 specialist who didn’t play much Stud-8, Rowsome took it down.
