The Playground Poker Winter Festival came to a close today as it wrapped up the $1,100 buy-in Main Event with a $500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool. There were a total of 494 entries and the top 55 players cashed in the money with 2 bubble boys eliminated at the same time, splitting $2,230.
The final two players agreed to a deal in heads up, splitting $160,000 evenly and playing for a remaining $6,640.
In the final hand of the match Hugo Fontaine shoves all-in with pocket 3’s and was called. Sergio Vigano paired his Ace on the turn to win the hand and the tournament.
