The PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) kicked off its tenth season in Barcelona, Spain and is once again partnering with the Estrellas Poker Tour to create the largest ever poker festival to take place in Spain.
Starting this week cash games and a variety of preliminary events are taking place at the Casino de Barcelona with the €5000 + €300 EPT Barcelona Main Event starting on September 1.
For the first time ever on the EPT circuit, PokerStars is allowing players to buy-in directly to any of the scheduled 27 tournaments via their PokerStars online account.
Last year, the EPT Barcelona drew over 1000 entries with a prize pool topping €5 million with €1 million for first place.
