Day 3 of the partypoker Live Million North America is in the bag and 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event final tablist Scott Montgomery has the biggest stack in the room.
Montgomery leads the final 37 survivors with a stack of 83,450,000. Several other Canadians are hovering around the top of the leaderboard including Philippe D’Auteuil (79,000,000), Jonathan Bussieres (62,350,000), and Jean-Pascal Savard (61,000,000).

With 176 players returning on Day 3 and only 119 of them making the money, play moved cautiously towards the bubble early in the day. As hand-for-hand play got underway Griffin Benger fell in 121st place and a few tables over Steven Warburton was knocked out in 120th, leaving the remaining field in the money.
Some notable Canadians unable to survive Day 3 but leave with some consolation include Benny Chen (43rd – $27,500), Ema Zajmovic (48th – $27,500), Chanracy Khun (49th – $25,000), Danny Noseworthy (57th – $22,500), Jean-Philippe Piquette (64th – $22,500), Xuan Liu (71st – $20,000), and Marc-Andre Ladouceur (97th – $12,500).
Day 4 gets underway at noon local time on Tuesday. The plan will be to play down to the final eight players with live-streaming coverage beginning sometime early in the day.
