The 2016 Espacejeux Poker Classic took over Casino Montreal last week featuring three events including a $300 No-Limit Hold’em (NLHE) event, a $600 No-Limit Hold’em Bounty, and a $1,200 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event. Ruben Perceval topped a field of 79 to claim the Main Event title and $26,393 while Ryan Normandeau and Jeremy Rozmiarek also picked up wins.
After two days of play, the 2016 World Poker Tour Canadian Spring Championship runner-up Ruben Perceval, has taken down the Espacejeux Poker Classic Main Event. Perceval defeated heads-up opponent Martin Nguyen to seal the deal at a final table that also included George Kazarian, Jean-Philippe Piquette, and Kenneth Lindgren, who had made his second final table in as many days.
In total, 79 players put up the $1,200 buy-in for the Main Event. Just 17 made it out of Day 1 with Piquette leading the field, barely ahead of Lindgren and Perceval.
