Recent Canadian Results – Boulevard “500” $1,100 NLH, Yellowhead Klondike Poker Classic $2,200 & $330 NLH

Several big buy in events took place on Canadian felts this past weekend, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars trading hands on the poker felts of the Boulevard Casino in BC and Yellowhead Casino in Alberta; looking first at the $1000+$100 “Boulevard 500” tournament held from July 27th to 29th and featuring multiple starting days to draw more than 200 entries to create a prize-pool in excess $200,000.   An impressive top 5 collected five figure paydays, here are the final results:

Saturday also played host to Event #3 of the third annual Klondike Poker Classic in Edmonton, a $2000+$200 No Limit Hold’em that drew a total of 74 runners to create a nearly $145,000 prize pool. Once again, the top results brought no surprises; here are the names of those who end up taking home all the loot:

Sunday brought the action in to a close in both cities, with the $300 + $40 No Limit Hold’em Event #4 shutting things down in Edmonton. It seems to us that not only did Kyle Hartree clean up in this one; he was also one of the most consistent performers after cashing in 3 of the 4 events held for a total of $18,450 over his 3 final tables. Bonnie Harrison also showed the boys some game, making 2 final tables for $23,300 in combined winnings.
