PokerShares: Any Player. Any Tournament

Do you want a piece of Daniel Negreanu’s action? Maybe Phil Hellmuth is sure to make the money in his next event! What about those online grinders making money every day? Or, how about Matt and Jamie Staples’ prop bet with Bill Perkins? If you are looking to invest in any of those and more, look no further than the newly built website of PokerShares!

PokerShares was developed and founded by none other than Mike McDonald. This unique website allows you to invest in any poker player in any tournament, live or online. Also, you can find odds on other poker related events, prop bets, and those ever-so exciting grudge matches. With PokerShares, you will be able to buy virtual shares of poker players without having to leave the comfort of your own home.

Throughout all of the live and online tournaments happening daily, you can keep an eye on your favorite poker players to see what events they are playing. In each tournament, players will have a certain percentage of their buy-in for you to invest in. PokerShares will allow that player with a markup value based on their history and stats, and you can buy a piece of that action. What better way to sweat your favorite players as they go for glory.

What happens if your best friend is taking their first shot in a high stakes event and their bet isn’t displayed on the site? Don’t worry! Submit a ‘request a bet’ form and you will receive a response in 24 hours. PokerShares aims to offer player shares and outright bets for any player in any tournament. Maybe you are going to play a $2,500 event but you feel good about your odds of winning and want to play for $5,000? Double up on your own action through PokerShares and after becoming the champion, win twice the amount of money. It’s that simple!

You can also find shares of players in multiple online tournaments happening weekly or in some of the upcoming series like WCOOP on PokerStars. For example, in WCOOP-66 $25,000 High Roller, you can stumble across action for Doug Polk, Jason Mercier, Jason Koon, Bryn Kenney, and 2014 WSOP Main Event winner Martin Jacobson. The WSOP Europe is just on the horizon and some names to appear on the betting page include Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier, Felipe Ramos, and Marcel Luske.

One of the newest editions to the site include a couple of events for the World Cup of Cards, currently being held at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Quebec. There have been many local names added to the player shares for the $2,200 Main Event and the $10,300 6-max.

There will always be other poker related events and unique prop bets throughout the poker community that you can make a wager on to have some fun with your friends. Going forward, if you are ever looking for a sweat when you are not playing at the felt, do it from your couch instead, at!
