The Playground Poker Classic 10k High Roller Event took place on Sunday. The highest buy-in tournament for the club, 9 players in all participated to create a $90,000 prize pool.
The field included a mix of WSOP bracelet holders, European Poker Tour and World Poker Tour event winners who came from out of town to play the PPC: Seat 1- Spencer Stacey, Seat 2 – Kevin McDonald, Seat 3 – Scott Montgomery, Seat 4 – Samuel Chartier, Seat 5 – Mike McDonald, Seat 6 – Arthur W., Seat 7 – Jonathan Gaffe, Seat 8 – Garen Galanti, and in Seat 10 – Jean-Philippe Piquette.
The tournament lasted for more than 20 hours and victorious was Jean-Philippe Piquette who collected $50,000 for 1st place who clinched his second PPC victory after winning the Playground Poker Classic Main Event last week, also for a $50,000 pay day.
Piquette beat out Spencer Stacey in heads-up with his pocket jacks beating A-K. Stacey wins $25k for 2nd place followed by Garen Galanti who took $15,000 for 3rd place.
