Phil Ivey and Tiger Woods play at the Same Poker Table for Charity

Tiger-Woods-PokerThe Tiger Woods’ Charity Poker Tournament was held at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Friday. The event was a $10,000 buy-in that had 50 players in total showing up for high stakes action and organized by the World Poker Tour and a big party.

A man often been referred to as the “Tiger Woods of Poker”, Phil Ivey got to sit at the same table as Tiger Woods. Other celebrities included Billionaire Mark Cuban, Chris Paul, Kid Rock, Mehki Phifer, Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu and Mike Sexton. Phil Hellmiuth emceed the event.

Amateur player Scott Dillon won the tournament and Dan Shak came in second. Prizes included a golf outing with Woods and other memorabilia.

The World Poker Tour filmed the event, and it will air later this year during its “WPT Foundation On Tour” charitable segment in an episode of World Poker Tour Season XI on Fox Sports Net.
