With still 2 starting heats yet to start, the WPT500 at Aria, presented by partypoker, has already shattered it’s $1,000,000 prize-pool guarantee with more than 2000 players registered by 1D.

partypoker WPT500Already the record setting field in terms of entries for a WPT event, it’s only going to continue to climb with Tuesday’s 1E already taking alternates and a “Turbo” 1F set to give players one last chance to advance to Day 2, the final heat beginning at 8:30 am Wednesday.

More than 100 players qualified for the $500 + $65 event via partypoker and were given VIP treatment that included a party at Haze nightclub on Saturday night.

The event’s unique structure sees players hitting the money payouts on Day 1, but only the top 5% of each starting flight advances to fight for the big money on Wednesday’s Day 2, including a top prize expected to  be in the neighborhood of $200,000 or more.
