Hand 43 – Laak Out (0 Points)

IMG_8395And we have our first bust with Phil Laak going all in for 207k and getting busted by Sorel Mizzi.

Mizzi –
Laak –

The board brought us      and now we’re 7 players. Afterwards Mizzi actually confessed to Laak saying he didn’t know if he had him beat. It’s always a shame to lose Phil Laak this early on in the game as he brings a great energy to any game.

Hand 42

The action is pretty mellow paced right now. We’ve seen Dan Shak earn a nice little pot off Vanessa Selbst, but in general a lot of chips just being passed back and fore. Jason Koon is the current chip leader with 466,000 chips, closely followed up in 2nd place is Mizzi. The blinds are 2k/4k +500 antes.
