PartyPoker Hosts WPT Montreal Party as Premier League VII Matchups are Drawn

Premier League VII Party (20)As Montreal is prepares to welcome the World Poker Tour in just a couple of days, the partypoker Premier League VII is set to get underway Wednesday evening at Playground Poker Club where 12 world renowned pros will battle it out in a $125,000 buy-in heads-up battle with $1.5 million being awarded and the victor taking home $400,000.

Partypoker hosted a lavish party this evening at the W Hotel in downtown Montreal to ring in WPT Montreal week. A draw also took place officiated by Kara Scott to determine the player match ups for Premier League VII. Each participant was assigned one of 12 cards represented by a spot throughout the various heats of the tournament.

The tournament will consist of 6 League Heats (6 players each) and 1 Heads-Up Knockout Heat (2 matches). A total of $100,000 will be awarded to the top seven players in each heat in addition to receiving points. There will be a final table consisting of 6 players who will be playing for a title and the remaining $900,000.

The action is set to start on Wednesday at 6 PM EST at Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Quebec and the tournament will be recorded for television.
