Party Poker’s version of fast-fold poker called FastForward has come out of the beta stage and is available for everyone to play starting September 6th. Currently, the game is available for real money play at the micro stakes $0.02/$0.04 and $0.05/$0.10 which is probably a great way to get accustomed to speed poker play before jumping into higher stakes. Other limits beyond micro stakes will be introduced subject to demand, and also a Pot Limit Omaha variant of the game.
FastForward follows the same format as other fast-fold products. It allows up to 4 entries per player, a “Fast Forward” button for folding and going to the next hand, and a slide animation to switch between tables. The option exists to stay at the same table once a player has folded their cards and “Watch on Fold” to see how the hand plays out, with a “Next Hand” button available when using the “Watch on Fold” option to start the next hand if the post-flop action becomes too much.
The innovative feature allows players to play hundreds of hands per hour thanks to them being seated in a player pool rather than one fixed table. Players don’t have to wait for a new hand to be dealt but instead can fold and be immediately placed at a new seat with new players.
FastForward is a great addition to the Party Poker software, filling the recent demands for fast-fold poker.
