OLG Casino Brantford $1090 NLH on April 29th, WCPC in Edmonton Set To Get Underway
With the final day (and table) of play now under at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino’s Spring Super Stack, players may just be wondering where to look for Canada’s next medium limit tournament stops; Casino Brantford, Casino Yellowhead in Edmonton and Playground Poker Club all have some juicy upcoming action to close out the month of April.
For those players in Southern Ontario, Casino Brantford will be hosting a $1000+$90 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em at 10:00 AM on April 29th, featuring 15,000 tournament starting chips and 40 minute levels. Late registration is generally available for the first two levels, however, with a 100 player field cap, the event could sell-out prior and easily hit their $100,000 prize-pool estimate. For those in an around Edmonton, or planning to be, the 10th annual Western Canadian Poker Classic also gets things started on April 29th, with super satellites to the events. The Yellowhead Casino poker tournament series features buy-ins starting at $340, as well as a $2,200 Main Event and a High $5,200 Mixed Hold’em/PLO.
Looking back to the east, Playground Poker Club will also kick of it’s 2nd Annual Playground Poker Classic, starting on April 27th with their signature ”free-buy” event, then getting right to business with a $550 on April 28th. This series continues until May 14th, with buy-ins for every bankroll, right up to it’s $2,200 Main Event and $10,300 High Roller Deep Stack.
