The Caribbean Poker Tour is a brand new event which will take place between the 8th and 14th of November 2013 in the Dominican Republic and St. Maarten, two luxurious Caribbean islands. The Caribbean has been a very popular stop for many Canadian poker players who travel to the Bahamas for the PCA each January to take a break from winter.
Events at the Caribbean Poker Tour will include Main Events of $1,500 (Punta Cana) and $1,650 (St. Maarten) along with a $7,000 Buy-in “Lucky Number 7” High Roller event. The Caribbean Poker Tour will also coincide with the World Poker Tour’s Caribbean stop in St-Marten for a $3,500 main event right before its very popular WPT Montreal stop. Side events and cash games will also be available.
The Event is organized by ICU Events, a company run by Thomas Kremser, an internationally renowned poker tournament director who has directed the World Poker Tour, European Poker Tour and Late Night Poker. The iPoker Network will serve as the official partners of the tour, with satellites, qualifiers and attractive packages available to win through TitanPoker.
The tour will focus on luxury and service, according to ICU. “The concept of ICU Events is offering an incomparable service in advance and during the event, in the poker room or away from the poker tables.”
The Dominican Republic portion of the tour will take place at the Princess Tower Casino on Bavaro Beach, Punta Cana with accommodations being offered at the five-star Bavaro Princess Hotel.
In St. Maarten, the action will take place at Casino Royale. Guests can stay at the Sonesto Maho Beach Resort.
To win a package, you can play one of many satellites on Titan Poker.
