Mike Leah Wins his First WSOP Bracelet at APAC High Roller and $600,000

Mike Leah WSOP APACThe WSOP Asia Pacific (APAC) is taking place in Melbourne, Australia with a roster of ten events that concludes tomorrow with the main event.

The $25K High Roller just concluded, filled with a star-studded field of some of the best players in the world. There were a total of 68 players in this event to create a A$1,632,000 prize pool.

Mike Leah went into the final table with a monster chip lead that was more than his five final table opponents combined. Leah finished the tournament on top to win his first WSOP bracelet as well as a massive $600,000 payday to bring his live tournament winnings to more than $3 million.

Jonathan Duhamel has also been on fire in Australia, posting a 4th place finish in the $25K High Roller for $145,000 in cash. He also finished in 3rd place in the $5K – 8 Game Max for $34,291 as well as another 3rd place finished in the $5K Pot Limit Omaha for $52,068. In the same event, Mike Watson finished in 2nd place banking $79,099.
