Jeffrey Lisandro picked up his fifth WSOP win in the £5,250 Pot Limit Omaha Event #2 in London at the WSOPE. The Stud expert from Italy and WSOP 2009 Player of the Year picked up his first bracelet outside a Stud event after defeating American Joe Serock in heads-up.
The three-day tournament concluded early Sunday morning at Casino at the Empire in London.
Serock initially held an over 2.5 time chip lead at the start of heads up but Lisandro’s experience quickly turned it around to give him the chip advantage over the 22 year old.

The board came :9s :Jh :8d :2d :Js missing Serock completely and giving Lisandro his 5th WSOP win.
This victory places Lisandro alongside Chris Ferguson, Stu Ungar, Berry Johnston, Allen Cunningham, Scotty Nguyen, Ted Forrest and Gary Berland in Career WSOP Wins, with Five. It also places him in a tie for 12th place on the all-time WSOP wins list.
Jeff Lisandro takes £159,000 ($257,000 CAD) for 1st place.
Also a notable finish was made by November Nine John Racener who finished in 5th place winning £39,486.
