Partypoker-sunday-majorsIn case you missed it, along with the recent release of new PartyPoker software & a rebranding, their Sunday Major schedule has seen a revamp as well; players will now have 12 prize-pool guaranteed events to choose from for their end of the week grind.

According to the folks over at both the WPT and PartyPoker blogs, “the key changes are the addition of an action-packed fun $10K Super Bounty and a wide range of new low buy-in tournaments featuring the best of the old but also new speed, rebuy, add-on and PLO tournaments.” Given an increased focus on giving beginner and recreational players a better experience, having a variety of new “micros” on the menu is sure to create some juicy Sunday fields that all levels of players are going to want to partake in. Guaranteed prize-pools only add to the draw, giving those that get in the game the comfort of focusing on playing their best game and not needing to gamble on whether or not the prizing up for grabs will merit their efforts.

Partypoker pro and TV personality Kara Scott recently blogged about the above changes, writing: “I really hope that recreational players will be newly drawn to poker with all of its fun, social aspects. I think that getting a new demographic of players excited about this game would be fantastic.”

Regarding what players can expect On the horizon, Scott had this to say; “I really believe that the new software is only the start of something great at partypoker. There is also a renewed focus and improved lines of communication with the players. There will be a roll out of new features and adjustments throughout the next few months as the HQ bods take in player feedback and I’m excited to see where it all goes!”
