Greg Walsh Winner of 2012 Atlantic Canada Poker Championship

All eyes were on Charlottetown, PEI this past weekend where the 2012 Atlantic Canada Poker Championship was hosted at the Red Shores Racetrack and Casino.  The $550 buy-in event was sold out at 320 players who traveled from various parts of Canada to create an impressive prize pool of $160,000.

The big winner was Greg Walsh of PEI who won first place and took home the $40,000 top prize. He was followed by David Wilkinson and Alex Allison, both from New Brunswick who finished in 2nd and 3rd respectively for $24,000 and $14,400.  Thirty-two players representing the top 10% of the field received a cash prize.

The Red Shores team have once again organized a fantastic event that continues to showcase great poker in Atlantic Canada.
