Grand Opening of Playground Poker Club in Montreal

Playground Poker ClubBy now, many of you may have seen the TV commercials on sportsnet for Playground Poker Club, a new poker club opening up in Montreal. Opening night will be this Friday December 17 and the Grand Opening celebration will commence with cocktails at 6pm followed by a No Limit Hold’em Freeroll tournament at 7:30 PM with 4 rounds of $50 rebuys. The “Freebuy” tournament will have a $10,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool. The tournament will be on a first come first serve basis.

More Freebuy tournaments are expected throughout the opening weekend.

In addition to the cash games, there will also be daily tournaments with various guarantees the biggest so far being a $300 deep stack freeze-out with a $15,000 guarantee on Thursday.

Playground Poker club has 25 poker tables designed to satisfy players at all levels including a private high stakes room.

If you are feeling hungry, Playground Poker Club also has a five star full service restaurant which boasts a menu that puts your favourite food to the test.

Playground is the third poker club and latest edition to the thriving poker scene on the Kahnawake territory across from the Mercier bridge.  Avid poker players and poker enthusiasts can find a game going all the time in just minutes from downtown Montreal.
