Gabriel Alarie Wins COPC Event #6

Event #6 of the COPC a $550 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Event played out yesterday. A total of 123 players from across Canada created a prize pool of $58,732. The last man standing was poker player Gabriel Alarie from Montreal, Quebec. Alarie beat our Peter Byington. Also making the final table was Gavin Smith who finished in 5th spot.

Gabriel has had a busy summer in Las Vegas where he made 2 cashes at the WSOP, one of them a 27th place finish which paid him $15,950. However, his best finish was a win at the Venetian Deep Stacks Extravaganza at the end of June where he won $151,274.
