Four Aces Poker Open Debuts Next Week in Montreal

Four Aces Poker Official LogoFour Aces Poker Club in Montreal will be hosting its first annual Four Aces Open on September 10th, 2010. This is a No-Limit Hold’em event with a $2,500 + $250 buy-in.  The prestigious Montreal poker club anticipates a field of 300-plus players, and an estimated prize pool in the realm of $750,000.

There are two separate Day Ones scheduled for this event starting at 1 PM on Friday and Saturday September 10th and 11th. Four Aces will be running Super Satellites to the Main Event on Wednesday and Thursday September 8th and 9th at 8:30 PM at the club. The buy-in is $150 and 1 in every 20 players will pick up a seat to the Main Event.

During the Main Event, tables will begin at nine player maximum and every player begins with 40,000 starting chip stack. The blind levels are 60 minutes and there are no rebuys, however, if dead stacks are available after a player is eliminated, one may be purchased. Day 1 will play down to the final two tables which are to resume on Day 2.

In addition to the live satellites, players still have a chance of qualifying for packages to the Four Aces Poker Open through their Headline Sponsor Online Poker Site UB.com. A total of eight packages will be awarded from August 29th to September 5th. The $3,500 packages include the $2,750 buy-in for the Main Event plus $750 for travel expenses.

The $300+20 buy-in Super Satellites will run every day at 20:05 ET between August 29th and September 5th, with a minimum of one prize package up for grabs per Super Satellite. From 16:05 ET on the day of each Super Satellite, UB.com will also host regular $40 buy-in Freezeouts and $10+1 Rebuy tournaments that feed into the 20:05 ET Super Satellite.
