newbie here from eastern canada. Looking to learn basics and move my way up. i don't have any people to play with right now. in fact, i have no idea where to go to start playing poker, to practice. I hope to learn some of these things too.

Hi my name is Rick Bordian from Edmonton & Bonnyville, AB & I was born in Edmonton, AB. I moved to Maple Grove, MN USA 15 years ago. I've been playing poker for 23 years and turned professional about 6 years ago. I biggest wins were 1st place in 2006 @ the "Moscow Palace Open", took 1st place in Minneapolis in the 2009 "Twin Cities Poker Championship", and my 1st cash of the WPT was a 13th place finish at the 2010 Borgata Open out of 1042 players, the WPT's largest field. A long with a lot of littler tournaments across Canada and USA. So hope to see you at the tables, and good luck.
