Espacejeux, the online gambling destination of Loto-Quebec, will be hosting the 3rd Celebrity Poker Tournament at Casino Lac-Leamy in Gatineau (close to Ottawa) on Saturday April 20 at 10AM.
The total prize pool for the tournament is estimated at $60,000 and you can buy-in directly into the tournament for $650 which includes one tournament seat and an overnight stay at the Hilton Lac-Leamy hotel for 2 people.
The event will have a bounty format on the celebrities, with players winning $500 for knocking out a celebrity. Each time a celebrity is knocked out, Espacejeux will make a donation in the amount of $500 to the charity chosen by the celebrity.
There are a total of 15 celebrities from the local Quebec entertainment scene including Jean-Michel Anctil, Sophie Bourgeois, Geneviève Brouillette, Alain Choquette, Annie Dufresne, Sébastien Dubé, David Jalbert, Bruno Landry, Luc Langevin, Jean L’Italien, Luis Olivia, Sylvain Marcel, Jean-François Mercier, Jean-Nicolas Verreault et la pro de poker Laurence Grondin.

Registration fees: 25¢ + 2¢
One seat in the next scheduled minisatellite is guaranteed to the winner of each microsatellite.
To obtain a seat in the Celebrity Tournament, you must pay the registratrion fee of $650 or qualify by participating in one or more satellite tournaments. Go to the poker lobby often to look for lastminute satellites.
