EPT Grand Final Kicks Off in Monte Carlo



The final and must prestigious event of the European Poker Tour is taking the stage at the Monte Carlo Casino. A total of 50 events will be played between May 6 and 15 in principality of Monaco including more Open Face Chinese which has been gaining notoriety in the poker world and a €100,000 Super High Roller event.

Some of Canada’s very best have made the trek out there and are already down to business. Jonathan Duhamel, Mike McDonald, Mike Watson, Sorel Mizzi, Marc-Andre Ladouceur, Griffin Benger will be playing a series of events including the €10,000 + 600 main event which is already underway. Last year’s winner Mohsin Charania walked away with a Grand Prize of €1.35 Million.

Monte Carlo is the most exclusive stop of the European Poker Tour circuit and each year attracts the crème de la crème of the poker world. In addition to our boys from Canada, already in appearance are Erik Seidel, Barry Greenstein, Jake Cody, Justin Bonomo, Dan Smith, Marvin Rettenmaier, Vanessa Rousso and many more expected to hit the royal felts.
