Casino de Montréal hosted its popular Série Royale de Poker this Saturday July 5th which consisted of an $1,600 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event which started at 1:10PM and concluded at 1:45AM after a heads-up battle that lasted an hour with the final hand of the night ending in a pair of Aces over 3’s.
A total of 27 players participated to create a prize pool just shy of $40,000. Players were able to qualify through satellites at the casino and online on EspaceJeux.
The next Série Royale de Poker is slated for September 13th, 2014 at 1pm, with an 1,100$ buy-in. Two super-satellites will take place: Thursday September 11th at 7:30pm and Friday September 12th at 1pm at a cost of $250.
