Casino Regina’s 2012 Harvest Poker Classic Recap & Event – 4 Results‏

0

The 16th Annual Harvest Poker Classic wrapped up this weekend at Casino Regina, after awarding $485,650 in series pay-outs over 4 No Limit Hold’em tournaments to come out only a hair shy of the $500,000 pre-series estimate.

Despite Events 1-3 being weekday events and Saturday’s $700 NLH having been proceed by a heavy snowfall, an average of just under 200 serious players per day turned out to take their shots; not bad at all for an average buy-in nearly $740 across the series!

While Saskatchewan’s poker grinding Smith brothers caulked up a few cashes, with Mike adding to a long list of Canadian final table finishes and Regina’s Lindsay Flannery added to her streak of consistent deep finish at Casino Regina majors over 2012; Kyle Irvine’s performance this installment is definitely worthy of a little extra attention.

The player from Regina Beach not only won Event 4 for more than $34,950 but also took 10th in the $1100 for a total series haul of just over $39,000. Irvine wasn’t the biggest winner and there were plenty of five figure paydays over the series, however, 2 final table finishes out of 4 tournaments is always impressive. Since 2005, Kyle has had 4 top ten finishes in the Casino Regina majors, but bags his first win and ring here.

Congratulations to all the players, here are the Event 4 results:
