The Montreal Casino will be presenting the Royal Series of Poker on Friday February 11 and Saturday February 12. This is a No-Limit Hold’em tournament and will start at noon on Friday with a maximum of 120 players. The buy-in for the tournament is $2,500 with an estimated prize pool of $276,000. As an added bonus, the Montreal Casino is also adding a WSOP Main Event Package valued at more than $10,000 to the winner of the tournament on top of the prize pool. The WSOP Main Event Package includes a seat to the $10,000 Main Event buy-in and a Vegas trip. This sounds like a really good value.
Players will start with 25,000 chips and the blind levels will be in 45 minute rounds.
During the week, the Montreal Casino will be running nightly No Limit Hold’em Tournaments that start at 7:30 PM with buy-ins of $75 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and $145 buy-in on Wednesday.
