A total of 137 entrants including alternates played the Série Royale de Poker on Friday at Casino de Montréal to amass a prize pool of $132,915, the highest ever for the $1,100 buy-in format for this event. After almost eleven hours of play, the winner was finally decided around 3:30AM after a deal was made between the final three players. The winner was Marco Caza followed by Benoit Fortier in 2nd and Ofali Wayel in 3rd.
