Also starting at noon is a crowd favorite, the Canadian Ladies Championship (Event #4) at the Deerfoot Casino where one lucky lady will earn the coveted title of “Best Female Poker Player” in Canada for 2010. This is a $500 + $50 buy-in tournament but if you can get a front row seat, it’s worth the trip to see these 53 talented ladies compete their share of $25,000 and bragging rights. One notable contender in the ladies’ championship is Lacey Jones, known to many as the hottest girl in poker.
These events are pushing the level of excitement in the 3 poker rooms this Sunday as the much anticipated Main Event Heads-Up Championship, the COPC’s signature event is just around the corner tomorrow with a 4 day agenda.
