Bwin Completes Transition to Party Poker Network – Traffic Surpasses Full Tilt

After the long awaited sale of the Ongame Network by, the much awaited transition of sportbook giant bwin’s poker database onto the Party Poker platform was next to follow. This player migration has finally been completed quietly today, with the company achieving their pre year-end goal.

The Party network’s traffic following the move today shot past the 6,000 simultaneous cash game players mark to peak around 6,453 players following the move, pushing the network past iPoker and overtaking Full Tilt for 2nd position in network poker traffic.

It is still too early to judge where the traffic level will eventually stabilize, but the initial signs are good. For poker players from bwin, there are many advantages on the Party software such as a much larger pool of cash players and bigger tournaments, cool software features such as fast-fold poker and avatars and of course access to more live event satellites such as the World Poker Tour.

For Ongame players, there is a small drop but many of bwin’s Ongame tables were ringfenced exclusive to bwin players, therefore the drop in traffic appears minimal at this early stage.

If you don’t already have an account on Party Poker, there is no better time than now with a lot more action at the tables. Click here to visit Party Poker and download the software for free and benefit from a generous 100% to $500 sign up bonus.
