Full Tilt has re-introduced its previously popular Black Card loyalty program. The new Black Card program allows members to convert all their Full Tilt Points to a cash bonus at full value, at any time. There are no additional conditions to earn the bonus and no play-through requirements. The cash is paid immediately into your account and can be withdrawn without further restrictions.
What Full Tilt has also done is to introduce a “VIP Amnesty” to players in April, when they transfer status from another site to the equivalent FTP status. At the Black Card level the benefits are apparently worth around 40% in equivalent cash rakeback with the amount reducing to a minimum of about 12% at the lowest VIP level.
To transfer your status to Full Tilt, simply take a screenshot with your screen name and VIP status visible and send it to [email protected].
Sarne Lightman, Head of Marketing at Full Tilt Poker, explains: “We understand that players have put many hours, weeks and sometimes months into earning their VIP status on other sites while unable to play on Full Tilt Poker…. The amnesty will allow them to trial our Edge Rewards and Black Card programs at the equivalent level and see for themselves the superior benefits their play level offers at Full Tilt Poker.”
When Full Tilt re-opened, a lot of player value was lost. There was no more 37% rakeback, no more Black Card and of course the sites liquidity without the American traffic also made it less attractive to play it returned with a much reduced VIP program. Although the site initially retook its Number 2 spot in the overall list of biggest poker networks, the site has recently been overtaken by Party Poker and iPoker.
It is very likely that players will take notice to these promotions and that Full Tilt could regain its position.
