The PlayNow Poker Championship will be held at McPhilllips Station Casino in Winnipeg, Manitoba starting September 28 and running through October 2.

There are a total of five events with combined estimated prize pools of $600,000 up for grabs based on sold out events.

Here is the PlayNow Poker Championship schedule:

WINNIPEG’S BIGGEST POKER SERIES IS BACK FOR IT’S 12TH TOURNAMENT!

DAY 1 – MULTI-TABLE SATELLITE INVITATIONAL

Only the top point earners from Weekly Points Pool will receive an invitation.

Start Time – 7:00 p.m.

  • Starting chip stack – $5,000 in tournament chips
  • 20 minute blind levels beginning with $25-$50 blinds
  • 20 minute break after every five levels
  • Play to completion
  • The top finishers will receive an entry to the $1,100 Main Event

SINGLE TABLE SATELLITE DAY

Start Time – 7:00 p.m.

  • Table will start as soon as ten players register
  • $50 buy-in – winner receives entry to the $400 event
  • $70 buy-in – winner receives entry to the $600 event
  • $120 buy-in – winner receives entry to the $1,100 event
  • 10 minute blind levels

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2016

DAY 2 – NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLD’EM BOUNTY TOURNAMENT

Start Time – 12:00 p.m.  

$300 buy-in ($225 towards the prize pool , $50 towards the bounty pool and $25 registration fee)

  • Starting chip stack – $5,000 in tournament chips
  • Re-entry (late registration) will be accepted until the end of Level 5
  • 20 minute blind levels beginning with $25-$50 blinds
  • 20 minute break after every five levels
  • Antes begin at Level 10
  • 330 maximum number of players
  • Play to completion
  • Prize payouts are 10% of the playing field
  • Potential prize pool – $90,750 (based on a sell-out event)

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 2016

DAY 3 – NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLD’EM TOURNAMENT

Start Time – 12:00 p.m.

$600 buy-in ($550 + $50 registration fee)

  • Starting chip stack – $10,000 in tournament chips
  • Re-entry (late registration) will be accepted until the end of Level 3
  • 30 minute blind levels beginning with $25-$50 blinds
  • 20 minute break after every three levels
  • Antes begin at Level 10
  • 330 maximum number of players
  • Play to completion
  • Potential prize pool – $181,500 (based on a sell-out event)

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2016

DAY 4 – MANITOBA LIQUOR & LOTTERIES POKER CHAMPIONSHIP – NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLD’EM TOURNAMENT

$1,100 buy-in ($1,000 + $100 registration fee)

Start Time – 12:00 p.m.

  • Starting chip stack – $15,000 in tournament chips
  • Re-entry (late registration) will be accepted until the end of Level 3
  • 45 minute blind levels beginning with $25-$50 blinds
  • 20 minute break after every three levels
  • Antes begin at Level 10
  • 330 maximum number of players
  • Play will cease after Level 15

Remaining players will continue on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2016

DAY 5

Stage 1:  Start Time 1:00 p.m.

  • The remaining players from Day 4 $1,100 event will resume play
  • Resume play at Level 16
  • 45 minute blind levels
  • 20 minute break after every three levels
  • Play to completion
  • Prize payouts are 10% of the playing field
  • Potential prize pool – $330,000 (based on a sell-out event)

PLAYNOW.COM – NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLD’EM TOURNAMENT

Stage 2:  Start Time – 2:00 p.m.

$400 buy-in ($375 + $25 registration fee)

  • Starting chip stack – $8,000 in tournament chips
  • Re-entry (late registration) will be accepted until the end of Level 5
  • 20 minute blind levels beginning with $25-$50 blinds
  • 20 minute break after every five levels
  • Antes begin at Level 10
  • 220 maximum number of players
  • Play to completion
  • Prize payouts are 10% of the playing field
  • Potential prize pool – $82,500 (based on a sell-out event)
