The 2014 PlayNow Poker Championship, presented by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, was held at McPhillips Station Casino between September 30th to October 4th, 2014.
More than 700 participants played in 4 great events to create combined prize pools of $345 thousand. Players were able to satellite in live at McPhillips Station Casino and online on the Canadian Poker Network via PlayNow.com.
All events led up to the $1,100 Championship which saw 128 players battle it out for $128,000 in prize money. At the end of two days, Mark Charles defeated Zenni Petros in heads up play to become this year’s champion and win $35,000.
