The Edgewater Casino in Vancouver held their 2014 Spring Ultra Stack from May 22 to June 1st, with a total of six events on the roster over 11 days leading up to the $1,100 Main Event.
A total of 176 players entered over two Day 1s to make a $158,400 prize pool, with the top 18 players sharing in the money. Winning the event was John Angelakis who bested 175 other players and won against Doug James in heads up.
John won $41,184 for first place and second place Doug James took home $25,244.
Event #1 was the $500 buy-in and saw 237 players. The winner was Daniel Metry who won $25,596.
In Event #2, $500 buy-in Omaha, Robin Luo beat a field of 51 players to win $7,000 for first place.
The $340 buy-in Event #3 Turbo had 112 players and the winner of that event was Saied Barkhordariah who took $9,480.
Finally, in Event #4, the $500 Bounty event had a total of 114 players and was won by Brett Elder who took $9,576 for first prize.
