The weekend series will include 3 events with 2 big guarantees that will make this a very popular series with poker players from across Western Canada. Action starts off on Wednesday night with a Super Satellite where for a $200 buy in 1 in 7 players will win seats into all 3 poker tournaments. Thursday night features a $330 buy in Bounty Poker Tournament where a $100 bounty is on the head of every player in the tournament.
On Friday and Saturday the Main Event is played with 2 starting days and a $550 buy in with a $60,000 Guaranteed prize pool. With 25,000 in starting chips and 40 minute blind levels, this is a player friendly format that will attract a huge field with the Guaranty expected to be crushed based on initial player feedback. The Top 10% of players that make Day 2 on Sunday at 11am will all be in money and vying for the top cash payout that will be a minimum of $15,000.

Grey Eagle Casino will be running satellite events every Friday night at 7pm beginning December 13th where for a $200 entry, 1 in 7 players will win seats into all 3 Kickoff Series events. The satellite registration fees have been lowered to 8% to make this qualifying event more attractive to players and is part of a number of changes recently implemented by Grey Eagle to increase chip stacks and blind levels in all of their daily and weekly tournaments as well as going to 10 max players per table in all events other than sold out or capped tournaments.
