2012 Fallsview Poker Classic Results


Niagara-Fallsview-Poker-ClassicIt was another exciting week for poker as the third annual Fallsview Poker Classic Tournament wrapped up at Fallsview Casino Resort.

The six-day tournament, which took place from February 8-13, drew a record-setting field of 1,392 entrants, creating a total prize pool of over $2.8 million.

Featuring three Texas Hold ‘Em Tournaments, this year’s Fallsview Poker Classic included the following winners:

Total purse prize for all 3 Main Events $2,890,843

Total participants 1,392

Steven Howchin

$1,000 Buy-In

– 600 entrants (sold out)

– Total prize pool = $541,260

– 1st place Winner: Steven Howchin from Milton, Ontario

– First place prize total = $151, 548


Nicky Evans

$2,500 Buy-In

– 563 participants

– Total prize pool = $1,283,359

– 1st place winner: Nicky Evans from England

– 1st place prize total = $308,006


Thomas Middleton

$5,000 Buy-In

– 229 participants

– Total prize pool = $1,066,224

– 1st place winner: Thomas Middleton from England

– 1st place prize total =$303, 873

“Each year, the tournament has seen an increase in total prize pool” says Greg Medulun, Director of Communications at Fallsview Casino Resort.
