The Edmonton Poker Classic is just around the corner at Casino ABS Edmonton (Argyll); once again set to deliver an action packed tournament series from August 21st to September 2nd.
Casino ABS major tournament series typically see $350,000-$400,000+ in combined prize-pools over their 4 events. Their “Super Satellites” normally easily draw 120-200 players and 200-300 players in the multiple day $550 can be considered a fair estimate. Expect triple digits (or very near) for the $1,650 Deep Stack; past series have seen the 200 entry mark cracked for Main Events on numerous occasions.
Those looking for some warm-up action this week-end (August 17th-19th) might also want to look to make Day 1b on Saturday at 4:00 PM of their $340 Monthly Double Day Deepstack; featuring 20,000 starting chips and the top 10% of each day advancing to Sunday’s finals.
